Cancellation, Returns & Warranty Policy 

2.1 Custom Orders 

  • Custom orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit. 
  • The remaining balance is payable prior to shipment or upon final production approval.  Once production has begun, cancellations or changes are not permitted. 
  • Customer approval of drawings, dimensions, or specifications constitutes final sale.  If a refund is approved prior to production, the refundable portion will be processed within 24 hours. 

2.2 Ready-Made (Non-Custom) Products 

  •  Cancellations and returns are subject to Israeli Consumer Protection Law or Australian Consumer Law,  depending on destination.
  •  Requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery. 
  • Cancellation fee: ILS 100 or 5% of the order value (whichever is lower). 
  • Products must be unused and returned in original packaging. 

2.3 Returns & Defect Claims 

  •  Returns or exchanges are accepted only in cases of verified manufacturing defects or shipping damage.  Customers must contact AEC WOOD ART within 7 days of receipt, including clear photographs and a  detailed written description. 
  •  Upon approval, return shipping costs will be covered by the company. 

2.4 Product Warranty 

AEC WOOD ART provides a 12-month warranty covering structural or manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover: 

  •  Natural wood variations in color, grain, knots, or texture. 
  • Expansion, contraction, or movement due to climate or humidity. 
  • Minor epoxy variations, bubbles, or resin flow marks. 
  • Damage from sunlight, heat, moisture, or improper cleaning. 
  •  Termite damage (covered only for 3 months from delivery).

All wood undergoes professional gas fumigation prior to processing. Failure to follow care instructions voids the warranty.

 

2.5 Product Care & Maintenance 

  •  Avoid direct sunlight, extreme heat, or high humidity. 
  •  Use cleaning products suitable for natural wood only. 
  •  Abrasive or chemical cleaners will void the warranty. 

2.6 Repair, Replacement or Credit 

In the event of an approved warranty claim, AEC WOOD ART may choose to: 

  •  Repair the item. 
  • Replace it with a new product. 
  •  Issue store credit. 

Refunds, if approved, will be processed based on the exchange rate on the refund date. 2.7 Limitation of Liability 

  •  AEC WOOD ART shall not be liable for delays caused by force majeure, logistics failures, or supply  disruptions. 
  • AEC WOOD ART shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of income, or inconvenience arising from  product use or delayed delivery.

2.8 Intellectual Property 

All designs, drawings, images, and concepts provided by AEC WOOD ART remain its exclusive intellectual  property. Any reproduction, distribution, or use without written consent is strictly prohibited.
